Anxiety Relief
Anxiety is painful, yet it can become so ingrained and familiar. Often, people don't even realize they are so anxious, especially when it's in the body. Anxiety can also be excessive worry and ruminating thoughts. Some anxiety is normal and helpful, but often, our anxiety goes to far and causes problems. I work with clients to reduce and have relief from the anxiety that is not serving them. I use a holistic approach, including curiosity and exploration of what the anxiety is trying to achieve, understanding where it comes from, challenging (distorted) thoughts, utilizing the body, and teaching and practicing calming tools.
